Last week Sydney Social 101 was invited to ECQ Bar at the Pullman Quay Grand, Circular Quay to attend the stunning launch of fragrance house: Shay & Blue.
Guests included Michael Brown, Donny Galella, Michael and Angela Moore, Brittany Cairns, Amber Renae, Leigh Campbell, Rachael Mannell, Elisabeth King, Eleanor Pendleton, Company Founder Dom De Vetta, Melissa Hoyer and Escentials Brands Managing Director, Harv Kler.
Held at the stunning ECQ Bar overlooking Sydney Harbour, VIP guests and key beauty media were invited to celebrate the Australian launch of London Boutique fragrance house Shay & Blue. With a menu specially created to reflect the collection of scents, including a unique cucumber and almond welcome cocktail, guests dined on canapés including smoked salmon and dill cream cheese roulades served on a cucumber disk, persian feta puff palters with hay smoked beetroot relish, peking duck with a mango and lime salad finishing off with moorish rosewater splashed chocolate dipped strawberries.
Instead of the usual launch event formalities, guests were treated to sit in on a casual yet intriguing Q&A between special guest, Shay & Blue founder and creator Dom De Vetta and the events host for the evening, Melissa Hoyer.
Paying homage to the original Shay & Blue boutique in London, the room was filled with striking blue hydrangeas, the brands signature candles as well as subtle antique touches. Scent stations set up where guests could play with the different perfumes with all guests receiving a Shay & Blue goodie bag at the end of the evening.
