An eclectic mix of celebrities, influencers and industry influencers gather at Sydney’s coolest hidden venue, Alaska Projects red-light district carpark for the LEE ‘Stay Black’ premium denim launch party.

The underground carpark was transformed into a trendy and alternative party venue filled with an electric and rockin’ vibe.  Guests were inked by Hunter & Fox Tattoo Studio (like, actually got real tattoos, for real!), before being drawn to the arcade skill tester machine to try and win prizes from Oakley, Nixon, Bonds, Blaq Mask and Four Seasons black condoms.

LEE Creative Director, Jack ‘Stubby’ Turner brought his artistic flair to the party customising a leather jackets under the watchful eye of party revellers. The urban street-style party drew a crowd of more than 200 VIPs including Alice Quiddington and Danny Clayton, industry influencers Indy Clinton, Ally Carey, Model’s Madi Edwards, Molly King, Elouise Morris and Taylah Roberts. Australia’s Next Top Models Lola Van Vorst and Daisy Davies, Actress, Philipa Northeast, TV personalities Hayden Quinn and Lisa Clark.

Guests enjoyed pizza in Lee branded boxes followed by black fairy floss spun for sweet tooth.  Drinks served on the night included Smirnoff Pure mixers, Captain Morgan’s & Dry, Modus Beer and McGuigan black label wines. DJ Andy Garvey warmed up the crowd before Melbourne’s premium velvet-groove generator Harvey Sutherland took over the decks and ramped up the night.

LEE ‘STAY BLACK’ PREMIUM DENIM

‘Stay Black’ is the newest premium denim fabrication by Lee. Engineered to stay black over multiple wash cycles and with less fade for their blackest fabric yet.

The fabric has been reactive beam dyed which allows a very strong bond to be formed between the black dye and the fibres within the fabric. This in turn preserves the black colour in the jean for longer. Yay! No more phone outlines where your pocket is!

The LEE ‘Stay Black’ range will be available in-store at General Pants, and Lee.com.au and other key denim retailers from April 2017. Prices range from $159.95 to $569.95
