After a successful New York Autumn Winter runway debut in February, Fashion Palette is back to celebrate its sixth birthday on Friday, April 11, at Double Bay’s hot new bar, Casablanca. Partnering with OK! Magazine and Moët & Chandon, the invite-only VIP event also marks the announcement for the fashion juggernaut’s next stop – Dubai.

In six short years Fashion Palette has rapidly become a high-end trusted event, celebrating and nurturing Australian designers both nationally and internationally, and putting local talent in front of media and buyers to elevate Australian labels. Over the years, Fashion Palette has worked with Toni Maticevski, Akira, Steven Khalil, Bettina Liano, Arthur Galan AG and Leona to name a few.

Founder and Creative Director, Sonya Mefaddi said: “Having taken the leap of faith to create an Australian fashion event in New York, I am excited to announce we are now working on the launch of Fashion Palette Dubai.”

“It’s hard to believe Fashion Palette is six years young. I am so proud of what we have been able to accomplish for the Australian fashion industry, in particular with the New York platform, which has helped launch many labels into the US market!”

The sixth Fashion Palette Anniversary Soiree will be held on April 11, 2014 at Casablanca, Sydney, with a 300-strong VIP fashion and celebrity crowd.

Couture Australian designers – Steven Khalil, Paolo Sebastian, Leah Da Gloria and Phillipa Galasso – will transport guests to a night of dazzling fashion displays. Up and coming artist, Josie Barros, will deliver an enchanting performance before singing Happy Birthday as Fashion Palette toasts to its 2014 program.

Fashion Palette 2014 Partners include:

Moët & Chandon, OK! Magazine, Casablanca Sydney, House of K’dor, Nader Jewellers, Schwarzkopf, Bodyography, Two Italian Wines, Appletiser, Spritz, Twisted Frozen Yoghurt and 28 Black.
