Located in pretty Rockwall Crescent in beautiful, leafy Potts Point, Lot. One is the new neighbourhood eatery by Michael Bradley and Xenia Jade serving up a contemporary Australian menu and loads of warm hospitality.
Follow the neon sign and the array of hanging Edison globes and you will find yourself in Lot. One’s intimate, stylish and very inviting space. Once inside the team will greet you warmly like a relative they have not seen in a while and welcome you into their ‘house’.
Recently Sydney Social 101 was treated to a taste of Lot. One’s delicious, fresh and seasonal menu curated by Chef Xenia, complimented by a range of local and international wines from their very extensive wine menu.
To start we enjoyed the juicy Whole Squid stuffed to the brim with smoked red peppers, spicy chorizo, pine nuts, parsley and also the melt in your mouth Barramundi from the Raw menu served with honeydew melon, olives, jalapeño, coriander. For mains we devoured the ash crusted Sirloin served with Lot. One’s secret moʊli, tomato, eschallot and also the deboned, roasted and glazed Half Duck with red grapes, macadamia, snow pea tendrils.
Vegetarians, never fear, there is also plenty on the menu for you to enjoy! Top vego dishes include Nettle Tagliatelle with pesto, mushroom, manchego, pine nuts and also the Caulifower Steak served with red cabbage, nutmeg, walnut.
We were warned before starting out meal to save room for dessert and we were so glad we did! For dessert we enjoyed a selection of goodies from Lot. One’s ‘Life is like a box of Chocolates’ range. Chocolate bars including Bounty, Snickers, Turkish Delight and Ferrero Rocher were recreated into delicious tasting and spectacular looking dessert. My favourite? It was very hard to decide and was very close but I think the Snickers takes the crown for me!
