Happy Easter and Long Weekend Everyone!

Easter Weekend wouldn’t be complete without the usual tomfoolery, schinnanigans and merriment! So here’s our little Easter egg from us to you detailing how you can get involved in our top picks of the best, egg-cellent (sorry had to be done!) activities in and around Sydney.

The Morrison’s 2016 Crab Carnival

Grab your cast and join the festivities at The Morrison’s 2016 Annual Crab Carnival. Back for the third year running, this crabby affair is set to be bigger and better than ever so don’t be a hermit and get stuck in!

Crab fans can roll up for an array of crabalicious activities between 25th March to 22nd April including a limited edition Crab Menu created by Award winning Executive Chef and owner Sean Connolly. Salt & Pepper Crab Legs and bite sized Crab Hush Puppies will be mouthwatering additions this year, along with crowd favourites – Sean’s Soft Shell Crab Burger, Chili Crab Linguine and Chili Mud Crab to name a few.

Crab fanatics will rejoice as The Morrison’s renowned Crab & Lettuce Tacos will have their very own happy hour EVERYDAY throughout the carnival, going for a cracking $5 each between 6pm and 7pm. A host of drink specials will also be on offer, including Little Creatures Beer as well as the return of the famed Crabby Mary cocktail.

This year it’s going to get steamy, with the launch of Steam Pot night every Thursday throughout the festival. Roll up your sleeves and have your crackers, hammers and bibs at the ready as you’re in for a flavour-packed treat. Prepare to get messy as these delicious crustaceans get tipped on the table, with all hands in – as legs and shells are sent a flying!

Hermit crab racing will entice betting enthusiasts, providing them with a unique experience that’s guaranteed to entertain. A crabarama of competitions will also take place throughout the carnival, giving punters a chance to partake and win some crabtastic prizes along the way.
