French glamour, risqué humour, spectacular acrobatics and dazzling dance numbers! High-end spectacle Blanc de Blanc Encore presents a night of debauchery, decadence and adult’s only fun and has just opened at Studio, Sydney Opera House.
Sydney Social 101 was lucky enough to attend the opening night of Blanc de Blanc Encore and we just can’t stop raving about it. Having seen the original Blanc de Blanc Encore we knew we were in for a wild and exciting ride of non-stop enthusiasm and fun. In the first 5 minutes we were left in stiches by funny men Spencer Novich and Remi Martin Lenz’s crude comedy. From there we were taken on a high energy journey filled with burlesque, cabaret hits and circus tricks.
Standout performances included a stunning contortion routine by the super flexible Uugantuya “Ugi” Otgonbayar who can literally bend herself in half and then hold all her weight by her jaw- mind-blowing! Aerial hoop duo Caitlin Tomson-Moylan and Spencer Craig took our breath away with their stunning and sensual lyra act while aerial artist and dance extraordinaire Reed Kelly left us on the edge of our seats as he lifted and twisted and flipped and flexed his body to the beat of the music. Another show highlight was sultry songstress Ashley Stroud who belted out cabaret versions of modern hits and seduced the audience with her velvety vocals and her cheeky charm.
The most creative and quirky acts were performed the hilarious Remi Martin Lenz and Aussie Laura New. The acts included Remi slapping his ‘friend downstairs’ against his thighs perfectly in time to the beat of the music while Laura was able to simulate ‘slapping the salami’ beautifully to the music.
Blanc de Blanc Encore isn’t just a show you sit back and watch, it’s a show that you as the audience are actively involved in. From an audience wide pillow fight to assisting in possibly the world’s largest Champagne Bong (like a beer bong but with Champers) to being covered in bubbles and confetti, Blanc de Blanc is a show that engages all the senses and involves the whole theatre!
Blanc de Blanc Encore is a high energy, hilarious and sexy spectacular that is not to be missed!
