Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Cineconcerts will be bringing Sydneysiders a series of films accompanied by a full symphony orchestra. In the coming months the Sydney Opera House will screen a number of popular films including Harry Potter, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Star Wars all accompanied by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra who will play the musical scores.

Let the wizarding world enchant you all over again as the fifth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™, is projected onto a giant screen and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra performs Nicholas Hooper’s wonderful score. Laugh, cry and cheer at your favourite scenes in this memorable event.

Dates: April 10th- 13th

Truman Capote’s best-selling novella comes to life on the big screen accompanied by a full symphony orchestra. Audrey Hepburn dazzles in her legendary role as the deliciously eccentric Holly Golightly, a New York City socialite determined to marry a millionaire. Relive Henry Mancini’s legendary score, including the beautiful Oscar® and Grammy® winning song Moon River, performed live to film.

Experience the spectacular Return of the Jedi on the big screen, with the full score played live by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Darth Vader readies the second Death Star to unleash the final blow to the Rebel Alliance. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) joins his droid allies R2-D2 and C-3PO, together with Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), to free his comrade Han Solo (Harrison Ford), imprisoned by the vile crime lord, Jabba the Hutt. Reunited, the Rebels race to the moon of the planet Endor where they launch a desperate attack upon the entire Imperial Fleet.

But, the ultimate battle is between father and son, as Luke faces Darth Vader one last time, for the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance.
